Package Guidelines

Mail Call at Camp is a much-anticipated event on the tail end of lunch each day. We do allow your parents to send you packages; here’s a checklist of what you need to know when family sends love your way:

  • For reliable delivery, use UPS or FedEx.
  • Please don’t send any packages larger than a shoe-box.
  • Parents - please limit the amount of candy and sweets you send your kiddos. In addition to 3 meals a day, your child gets snacks and access to the camp store. Likewise, we try and keep ants and other friendly rodents out of the cabin…candy, unfortunately, doesn’t help.
  • We hand out mail each day at lunch Monday through Saturday. We don’t have Mail Call on Sunday.

Birthdays At Camp Are Icing On The Cake

Is your birthday during the summer? You’re in luck - birthdays at Camp Huawni are out of this world. You’ll likely be surprised by your counselors with icy sweet cupcakes or a candlelit cookie cake.

Parents, be sure and let us know if you’d like to do anything else to make this day for your child extra special. Kids who have their birthdays at Huawni become Camp-famous real quick!
