Family Camp is a great time for families to spend time together at Camp doing activities they normally wouldn't get to do!
Family Camp at Camp Huawni is a special weekend. Here’s everything you need to know about Family Camp.
Family Camp is designed to give younger campers (ages 2-6) a taste of sleepaway camp with their parents before coming for a full session. It’s also a great opportunity for families to share a meaningful weekend together away in the piney woods of East Texas, away from the hustle and bustle of life.
Our hope is that campers would feel so comfortable and at home with Huawni and their counselors that they’d sign up for a full-term session the same summer (if available) or the following year. Family Camp families get priority in signing up for regular sessions the following season (make sure to sign up online).

Families stay overnight in our open air cabins during Family Camp. Usually, families share a cabin with other family or friends. If you prefer to have a cabin for just your family, you may request that as well. Bathrooms and showers are taken in the boy and girls bathhouses respectfully.
