Slip and Slide is always a Camp favorite after a full day of Tribal Competition! After muddy Tug-O-War, the slip and slide gives the kids a chance to get clean enjoy each other! Everyone has a blast running and sliding down the hill, and every year they look forward to the Famous Famous MOST FAMOUS Snow cones!

“It is really fun and fun to run and stand up and it’s really soapy!” –Lane H. (BPEast)

Campers enjoyed one last day of activities, where they could choose from Archery, Ropes, the Pool, and Critter. With the heat today, most kids preferred to be at the Pool or the Critter Pond. This afternoon, they were given the choice to attend SOJ, led by Counselors Hunter, Riley, and Rachel! SOJ is our “spiritual orange juice”, in which kids can talk with our Counselors who are pursuing deeper relationships with God.

While the rest of camp was at activities, the Archery Tournament took place in the afternoon which concluded the Tribal Competition activities. The top 10 from Caddo and Tejas competed for the Golden Arrow, and the winners will be announced tomorrow! Congrats to the 20 Campers below who competed today.

Celebration is tonight, and it’s a great way for all of Camp to hang out and enjoy each other’s company! The theme for tonight is Shelby County Fair, and some of the Counselors will even be dressed as farm animals. The kids are going to play games, take some dance lessons, and enjoy a root beer float!

Session 2 has flown by, and we can’t believe it’s almost over. Tomorrow is a busy day with Summer Tree, Critter Pond Mixer, and Initiation in the evening!
