| Tracing the History of CHAA |

In 2005, the Camp Huawni Alumni Association, L.L.C. (CHAA) was officially formed by former Huawni campers and counselors in order to give back and further strengthen the bonds we all still share. Since our inaugural year, CHAA has hosted retreats, Frisbee Golf tournaments, regional get-togethers, destination Sing Songs, and other events that have furthered our cause of "scholarship, fellowship, and maintenance."
In 1965 Earl and Retha Adams started the magic of what is now Camp Huawni. For over 40 years in the piney woods of East Texas, campers and counselors from all over the world have since been a part of an indelible experience, cultivating a bond that is indescribable.
For so many years Camp Huawni gave each of us an invaluable experience that we have carried with us throughout our lives, and now we feel like it's our turn to give back. We would love for you to be a member of our Alumni Association, and remember - Huawni supporters who have not attended Camp are welcome to join!
